Straight answers
Where does the data come from?
Only official city sources — open-data permit feeds, development application registers, council files. Every project links to the original record so you can check it yourself. Nothing is typed in by hand, and nothing is guessed.
How fresh is it?
Feeds are re-pulled twice a day, and a fresh sample is re-verified against the cities' own records every night, field by field. If a feed dies, the site says so on its face.
Which cities?
Toronto (with Mississauga, Brampton and York Region), Metro Vancouver (Vancouver, Surrey, Burnaby, Richmond, Coquitlam and more), Calgary, and Halifax. One city at a time, deep — not fifty cities thin.
Do you show when bids are open?
No — and be wary of anyone who claims to. Cities don't publish private bid windows. What we show instead is the honest proxy: excavation-stage permits and inspections that mean the structure is being bought right now.
What does it cost?
