What this can and can't tell you

Green means the city said it. Bronze means we worked it out. Every project shows which is which, and links straight to the city's own record so any figure can be checked at source.

The groups describe the paperwork, not the bidding. "Excavation permit issued" means exactly that — the city issued a permit for the dig. It does not mean a package is out for tender. We have no way of seeing that.

What is not visible to anyone:

  • Who is bidding, when tenders close, or who won. None of that is published — not here, not by any competitor.
  • Delta, Langley, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Pitt Meadows and Port Moody publish nothing usable, so work in those cities will not appear here.
  • Surrey's permit records begin in January 2026. Earlier Surrey work is not visible.

Known limitations: a single tower can appear twice — once for the excavation permit and once for the tower itself. Dollar figures are the construction value declared on the permit; they are not contract values and not the formwork package.
